#84 Last Lynx - "Curtains"

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that most of you have probably never heard of Last Lynx. To be honest, I am not completely sure how I stumbled upon them myself. I am glad I did, though, as their song “Curtains” is a true gem.

Last Lynx is Swedish first off which makes them cool. (side note: They are the only Swedish band in the Top 100 this year making this song the best Swedish song of the year!)  They also have less than 20,000 likes on their FB page, making them even cooler.  The song “Curtains” is also a gem of dreamy, synthy indie pop with lyrics like “falling through the clouds from 1,000 miles” and “everything is lost, just let go” it stood out to me as one of the better songs of the year.  It went all the way to number 6 back last month.

I hope to hear more from them and even see a show of theirs in 2015!
