The pride of Durham, NC, Sylvan Esso came flying out of the gate with their super catchy indie pop single "Coffee" (we'll hear that MUCH later in the Top 100!) and released their self-titled debut LP in May. They continued to dominate the Top 100 each week and have 4 songs overall in the top 500, 2 in the Top 100. This song, "Hey Mami" actually came out in 2013 as the A-side to "Play It Right" but received little notice until "Coffee" came out in the spring of 2014. Subsequently, this song kinda came back out afterward and we all realized that it in fact IS a great song also! No video was made for this track but you can listen to it below:
