#79 Manchester Orchestra - "Top Notch"
While my Top 100's have been slightly getting away from guitar heavy alt-rock, there are still a few acts that tend to stick out amongst the masses. Andy Hull's Manchester Orchestra is one of those bands. Hailing from Atlanta, GA, MO came on my radar back in 2009 when "I've Got Friends" made it to #47 for the year. The next year "Shake It Out" cracked the top 5 of the year and in 2010 they finally landed a number 1 song of the week with "Simple Math" which closed out the year at #5.
