#85 Ben Khan - "Youth"

London based producer Ben Khan is new to me in 2014 and probably new to most of you. He has the smooth R&B feel to him ala How To Dress Well, but has a bit more of an uptempo feel to him.  I like to blast his tunes in my car with the windows down on a nice day. This will probably be why my speakers blow eventually as he can be “all about that bass” sometimes.

 

Ben has 3 songs in the Top 500 and one in the Top 100, this one entitled “Youth” has a video that could have been directed by David Lynch.

Also notice the well placed sample of Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock’s “It Takes Two”
